A new and exciting opportunity in acute Rheumatology Department has become available at West Herts NHS Trust.
The Rheumatology Department are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join our team of 3 experienced Rheumatology Specialist
Nurses to drive forward quality care for patients with rheumatology issues; the role can be potentially wide ranging and will be tailored to the skill of the applicant.
The role will include specialist outpatient clinics, working alongside our Rheumatology consultants, as well as nurse led clinics, telephone clinics. The department also offers a nurse led helpline service.
The role carries significant education responsibility.
There will also be opportunities for in service development, research and supporting the implementation of drug switches.
The post will involve working within a multi-disciplinary team; liaison with acute and community colleagues and will allow consideration autonomous working.
Training and support will be given to the successful candidate to assist with the development of the role.
There are extensive opportunities for continuing professional development. Experience at Band 7 level is essential.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
