We are looking for a Band 5 Registered Nurses to work within our large Elective Surgical Unit which is part of the West Hertforshire NHS Trust based at St Albans Hospital.
We are looking for individuals who are extremely hard working, patient focused, who can lead the Team to deliver the best care to our patients.
You need to be a motivated, enthusiastic, organised and a knowledgeable leader who loves working within a large Team of all bands - including Student Nurses of all levels as well as catering for Return to Practice Students.
We are unique in the respect that we have a Multi Speciality area covering a diverse range of procedures - Othopaedics- specialising in hip and knee replacement Surgery, spinal surgery of which we adopt the Enhanced Recovery Programme, General Surgery. ENT, Breast Care Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology.
We have 46 Elective Surgical Beds in our Unit on 2 wards - De La Mare and Beckett Ward and we cater for over 7,500 patients a year.
