Band 4 - Maintenance Craftsperson (Electrical), Envrionment
The Environment Division provides comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation services of the buildings, grounds, electrical and engineering services, and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You must have served a recognised Electrical or Building Services apprenticeship and gained wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
Main duties of the job
The role is Monday – Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working if needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is working closely to ensure statuary compliance is maintained across all the Trusts sites.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
A qualified tradesperson responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance of complex electrical, mechanical and control systems across the diverse building services of the Trust estate.
The will have the ability to analyse complex faults and undertake rectifications to ensure continuity of service.
The Electrician will be able to prioritise his work loads, identify potential improvement to operational system and management processes in order to increase departmental efficiencies.
The job may involve shift working and planned overtime.
This role requires you to be On-Call and you would need to be on site within 1 hour of call out.
All staff required to undertake on-call commitments should be able to make their own way to and from the required locations.
Essential Criteria:
- Completed Electrical Apprenticeship
- Completed part one and two city and guilds 2365
- Completed 18th Edition IET Electrical regulations
